Our Drop in Centre in St Andrew’s Bracknell
The “Drop In” at St Andrew’s Church in Priestwood Court Road, Priestwood, Bracknell RG42 1TU. Open every Monday from 12.00 am to 2.30 pm and every Thursday from 11 am till 2 pm.
It is a place to relax among friends, play table tennis or just have a rest.
We can offer specialist help if you are poor at reading, writing or are dyslexic.
We can provide Food Bank vouchers, clothing, clothing vouchers, shoes and during the winter, the entry passes needed to gain entry to the Bracknell and Wokingham Night Shelters. You may also charge your mobile phone whilst you are here.
You will find a friendly atmosphere and our team who are available for those men and women who wish to visit us to obtain hot drinks, a nutritious hot meal, clothing, food vouchers, a chance to charge your phone and a friendly listening ear.
We provide writing help for job applications, producing a CV with computers and assistance to use them, whilst at the Drop In. We are happy to provide personal assistance to deal with interviews, benefit changes, loss of accommodation or many of life’s traumas.
We can help signposting to direct you to other available services that you may need. And we can assist you to access those services.
We have a Personal Mentorship scheme where your own confidential mentor will meet you in a local coffee shop or other suitable meeting place and provide you with constructive and friendly help in an informal setting. This mentorship will provide you with an individual plan to get yourself back together, and to help you to deal with life’s daily problems.
